I would not recommend to stay very long, since there is not much to do. Phnom Penh has plenty of air conditioned cafes and some co-working spaces, so it's quite possible to get work done. The are plenty of condominiums and high rise blocks of apartments in Pattaya, and during the last few years, the availability has multiplied at an incredible rate. But talking about shopping in general, just go to Royal Garden Plaza, The Avenue  and the newest Terminal 21 Shopping Malls on Second Road, plus  the mega-mall Central Festival just on Pattaya Beach Road. Very nice place to stay a few days. Wonderful. If you ask around , you won’t find many people knowing that this is Pattaya. Absolutely fantastic. We could say that this is the part of the city that ‘ never sleeps’, where pubs, bars, restaurants, shopping malls along with little shops and street stalls live and survive one next to the other and where you can buy nearly everything. But somehow its nearly impossible to find a nice one. No events, no social life, no activities. It's a bit of an older vibe than Canggu, and there's certainly a big chunk of yogi's kicking around — but I liked it much better than Canggu and found it less pretentious. 300 to 500 a month for tiny rooms in a shared house.
