On 10 February 2008, the university appointed Baroness Falkner of Margravine as its first Chancellor. This has undergone an £11m refurbishment and now houses most of the School of Science and Technology, formerly split between Avenue Campus and Park Campus. All the research that we undertake, and the work that we do to generate new knowledge, is designed to have a social impact, helping improve people’s lives and the environment.

The facilities ain't amazing, however, it has what you need, studio rooms are way to small (don't be fooled by the first year studio spaces) Education has an extensive history in Northampton dating back to the 13th century whilst the University of Northampton has evolved from the beginning of the 20th century. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in diverse streams, apart from organizing different tutorials and seminars for the comprehensive development of the students. I graduated from here 20 years ago. Updated guidance on sports participation; The teachers there don't care or teach well and all the students are stressed and struggling. They are not only great at helping with studies they offer great advice with a large variety of issues or concerns you may have outside your degree such as flatmates or family issues which may hinder you studying. I still get graded in terms of 'a,b,c,d' etc and have never been given a proper numerical university style grade which along with the teaching style sort of makes it feel like a college.
