Mar 5, 2016. thanks for your help with this one. I have tried pressing the button on both the router and the WCB (first one, then the other; then reversing the order) but that didn't work either. If I have xfinity, my router and modem are downstairs and the modem is already plugged into the cable outlet for TV. When I connected the WCB3000n to another FIOS coax cable from the wall in another room, the coax light does not come on (tried this with and without the splitter which came with the WCB). Did the various reset suggestions, but the coax light is not comng on. The lights for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz lights to come on. Warranty. There still seems to be other devices connected via MoCA, but the Coax light won't go green on the WCB3000N. Instead, I bought the WCB6200Q directly from Verizon, thinking I would have better luck. Fingers crossed that it stays that way! I went into my online xfinity modem settings, and turned on MoCA. No coax light indicates there is no MoCA signal on the coax network. I have web access after connecting main Comcast line into the 2-way splitter. Would appreciate any suggestions . If you have a separate modem and router setup then you also need an ECB2500C installed at the modem/router location to provide a MoCA signal onto the coax network.
