The College Panhellenic alone cannot be the only entity marketing the sorority experience–individual members and chapters need to help engage with potential new members to reach the most people. When a College Panhellenic is operating effectively and efficiently, the entire Panhellenic community wins. 26 women’s-only inter/national member organizations. As an officer, you must be prepared to handle these situations effectively to minimize conflict and increase resolution, ideally using informal conversation. The NPC rotates chairs every two years between its member organizations in the chronological order of each group's joining date.

Made up of 26 women’s-only inter/national member organizations, the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) is the world’s largest umbrella organization specifically charged with advancing the sorority experience.

In substitute of it, some undergraduate chapters have small outdoor Greek plots to help substantiate their presence on campus.

Through this session, officers will have an opportunity to review exceptional College Panhellenic social media marketing from a variety of campuses and critique their own council’s social media and website.

It promotes cooperation and cohesiveness within the Greek community, oversees formal recruitment for its member groups, and sponsors community service opportunities, social events, and educational programs throughout the year. Each year, Panhellenic communities embark on planning and executing primary recruitment.

Participants will learn why this important topic is a component of NPC’s advocacy platform and strategic plan, and will also gain tools and knowledge of policy efforts currently advancing this movement.

In 1992, the first permanent national office for NPHC was established in Bloomington, Indiana on the campus of Indiana University through the joint cooperation of Indiana University and the National Board of Directors of NPHC. College Panhellenic communities rely on their media platforms to raise awareness of the Panhellenic community and promote the women’s-only sorority experience on their campus. a. In recent years, a growing number of undergraduate chapters of NPHC organizations have advocated for convenient traditional Greek housing. Marvin Smithey (a member of Kappa Alpha Order and brother of a Kappa Delta member in the Alpha chapter) offered legal services to secure the first charter.[2]. NPC sororities are located on nearly 670 campuses with nearly 400,000 undergraduate members in more than 3,000 collegiate chapters.

[9] Named after the sorority's third National President, the Walton House serves as the main operations center of Tri Sigma, where day-to-day business is conducted. As the sorority grew, the national nature of Tri Sigma solidified with the standardization of a ceremony for new members and the establishment of a Founder's Day to celebrate the founding of Sigma Sigma Sigma. In this session, participants will evaluate common examples of conflict, explore effective communication strategies to be used when addressing conflict, learn about key techniques such as motivational interviewing and ultimately be able to adequately address community and individual concerns.
